Why do I have 4 delivery trucks driving down my street every day but I have to walk to the mailbox to get my mail?

Here is an idea.

1. All the delivery services deliver packages to a local Post Office before noon.
2. Post Office sorts the packages.
3. Post Office delivers the packages and mail in the afternoon.

As a result, the gas of 3 delivery trucks is saved which helps the environment.

Oh, and I do not have to walk to the mailbox.

Constitutional Convention Can Succeed

1. Mock Constitutional Convention was successful.
2. Congress is broken.
3. Congress acts when 2/3rds of votes are near.
4. Congress will limit topics and set a deadline.
5. States and Congress will specify attendees.
6. 3/4th of States have to approve any amendments.

Congress is broken. 2023 was one of the worst years for Congressional productivity.

Congress acts when 2/3rds of votes are near. 27th Amendment passed in 1992 when state approval was near. See “The People’s Constitution” book page 245.

Congress will limit topics and set a deadline. Congress will limit convention topics to the state resolutions so no new Constitution will result. Congress will also set a deadline.

States and Congress will specify attendees. Some state resolutions specify attendees. Congress will designate the rest.

3/4th of States have to approve any amendments. Per Constitution Article V a whole new Constitution will never pass in 3/4th of States.

Why a Convention?

1. Get Capitalism out of politics.
2. Rights in the Constitution are for each person not groups of people like Super PACs. (Reverse Citizen’s United)
3. Campaign finance limits and lobbying limits are mandatory.
4. Term limits are needed.
5. Filibusters are unconstitutional.
6. Gerrymandering is unconstitutional.
7. Unanimous consent is unconstitutional.

What about a runaway Convention?

“Much of the fear surrounding a convention is unfounded. The Convention Clause’s text and history indicate that it grants power to the States to limit the scope of any such convention. In addition, the States have the ability to reject any amendments proposed by a convention through the (3/4th of States) ratification process.”

Federal Reserve Needs to Manage Mortgage Rates – Raise Your Hand If You Agree

CPI used by Federal Reserve rose slowly. 2021 – 7.6% 2022 – 6.3%

But Median Home Price (Inflation) rose faster. 2021 – 18% 2022 – 13%

The problem is the Fed was watching the CPI and not looking at housing prices which rose a lot faster. That resulted in similar large rent increases. Powell and the Fed did NOT recognize the need to raise rates UNTIL January 11, 2022.

Solution 1: Have Congress give the Federal Reserve the mission of controlling mortgage rates in conjunction with housing inflation. OR

Solution 2: Combine the Federal Student Aid, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac agencies into the new Federal Loan Administration and have it set rates in conjunction with the Federal Reserve for student and housing loans. Student loan rates and mortgage rates would rise as demand rises or as prices rise. Likewise they would go down independently of the Fed Funds Rate as demand goes down or as prices drop.

Trump Will Fire All Government Workers that are Democrats

If Trump is elected, his action will be hung up in courts for a year before being resolved.

If Trump is elected, the results of this action are as follows:

• Trump gets revenge.
• Trump can destroy the Justice Department.
• Trump can put loyal Republicans in place.
• The Koch brothers get the Federal government immediately cut in half.

Pro-Choice Is A Religion – And Pro-Life Is A Religion

A. Title VII Defined Religion

Religious beliefs include theistic beliefs (i.e. those that include a belief in God) as well as non-theistic “moral or ethical beliefs as to what is right and wrong which are sincerely held with the strength of traditional religious views.” 

One religion believes in God. Another believes in Buddha. That does not mean one is right and the other is wrong.

Therefore, Pro-Choice is a religion and Pro-Life is a religion. They can coexist.

B. US Constitution – First Amendment Defined Rights of Religion

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof …

C. Therefore, Pro-Choice AND Pro-Life shall be exercised anywhere in our nation.
